DALLAS, Oct. 16, 2025 – The U.S. Army awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) an Integrated Fires Protection Capability (IFPC) 2nd Interceptor Other Transaction Authority (OTA) Project Agreement to enhance its air and missile defense capabilities. This significant agreement results from the company’s investment in Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) capabilities and is projected to result in 15 years of business.
The IFPC 2nd Interceptor program will provide a robust and integrated solution to fill the gap between short-range air defense systems and the Patriot air and missile defense system. This is representative of our industry leadership in IAMD capabilities that work for any objective. We look forward to continuing our long-standing partnership with the Army and supporting their mission to protect our nation and its interests."
