Department Of Commerce Recognizes Lockheed Martin For Minority Business Development Award

BETHESDA, Md.

BETHESDA, Md., Dec. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Department of Commerce's Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) has selected Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) as the recipient of the 2013 Distinguished Supplier Diversity Award. The prestigious award is presented annually in recognition of corporations, programs and individuals that have significantly advanced the growth and development of minority business enterprises.

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and MBDA National Director David Hinson will host a private ceremony to present the award today at the U.S. Department of Commerce. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. and will conclude with lunch at 12:30 p.m. in the Commerce Secretary's executive dining room.
