BETHESDA, Md., Dec. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Department of Commerce's Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) has selected Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) as the recipient of the 2013 Distinguished Supplier Diversity Award. The prestigious award is presented annually in recognition of corporations, programs and individuals that have significantly advanced the growth and development of minority business enterprises.

The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. and will conclude with lunch at 12:30 p.m. in the Commerce Secretary's executive dining room.
