Lockheed Martin Training and IntraLearn Software Corporation announced today a teaming agreement to provide a complete e-Learning solutions for companies, organizations and higher education establishments. Under the agreement, Lockheed Martin Training will integrate and create e-learning course content and IntraLearn's e-Learning delivery platform will make the training available worldwide.
Lockheed Martin Training offers a fully integrated e-learning system to manage and deliver web-based curriculum via the Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems (NE&SS)- -Surface Systems Electronic Training Environment (ETE). The ETE distributes Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI)-based course content coupled with IntraLearn's Learning Management System (LMS) for customer-specific training material. The IMI formats range from Interactive Courseware (ICW) to surface simulations that allow students to learn and practice their course content electronically.
IntraLearn's e-Learning application software is a proven product with more than 2 million users worldwide. The system enables customers to oversee and manage their employees' training activities including tracking and reporting, remote registration, billing, course progress with collaboration, assessments and examinations. In addition to allowing user-configurable profiles, the software provides a comprehensive interactive experience providing connectivity between students and teachers. The IntraLearn LMS is Aviation Industry Computer Based Training (CBT) Committee (AICC) certified, and IMS/LRN 2.0 and SCORM compliant.
