The United States Navy has awarded Lockheed Martin
Lockheed Martin's Systems Support & Training Services will be responsible for providing engineering services to add new equipment to the SCSC suite of Combat Systems including AEGIS cruisers and destroyers, aircraft carriers and amphibious ships as they are introduced to the Navy's fleet. In addition, Lockheed Martin will provide technical support, planning, conduct engineering experiments, perform proof of concept testing, and introduce new technology to the Navy's Combat Systems in support of Network Centric Warfare initiatives.

Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems (NE&SS) -- Surface Systems in Moorestown, NJ, the Navy's premiere combat systems integrator, is partnered with SS&TS to bring leading technical capabilities to the after-market support program. "This contract demonstrates the partnership and teamwork in the areas of Lifetime Support across the various Lockheed Martin businesses," said Robert Regensburger, Business Development Director of Lifetime Support Programs at NE&SS-Surface Systems. The Lockheed Martin team will also include PRC, Inc., a subsidiary of Litton Industries and Logicon, Inc., a Northrop Grumman Company.
