HUNTSVILLE, Ala., 11 Aug. 2026 – Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) announced today that it has been selected for a contract with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to develop, evolve, modernize and sustain the agency’s Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Objective Simulation Framework (OSF), a virtual testing environment for the United States’ missile defense system. This contract is called M&S Vistas Framework.
Leveraging Lockheed Martin’s digital transformation investment, and partnering closely with MDA’s Directorate of Engineering, which is leading digital transformation across the agency, the M&S Vistas Framework will provide a visionary, next generation capability.

This program will strengthen layered homeland missile defense capabilities that further integrates design, implementation and testing functions. M&S Vistas Framework builds on Lockheed Martin’s decades of operational missile defense leadership where continuously modernized and fielded systems are advanced through iterative development, data-driven insights and ongoing experimentation to deliver real-time, coordinated responses for warfighters around the globe.
