Lockheed Martin Named to the 2015 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index

BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for 2015, maintaining its position on a respected benchmark for corporate sustainability for the second consecutive year.

The 2015 Index represents the top 10 percent of the largest 2,500 companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index based on long-term environmental, social and economic criteria. The underlying research methodology evaluates corporations based on a variety of specific criteria including climate strategy, operational eco-efficiency, human capital development, risk and crisis management, stakeholder engagement and corporate governance.

DJSI performs a yearly review of component selection and continuous monitoring of companies.
