BRAMPTON, ON, Sept. 2, 2015 /CNW/ - Dynacare announced today that it has selected Lymphoma Canada as its 2015 Lead Charity. Each year Dynacare asks its employees to choose a lead Canadian charity whose mission and work resonate most across the company. Typically, it is an organization that promotes health & wellness, has national reach, and supports a cause that is otherwise underfunded and under-recognized.

Lymphoma Canada will receive a $25,000 donation to be directed toward research to improve the understanding of lymphoma, increase treatment options, and move toward a cure.

Among cancers, lymphoma is the fifth most common in Canada and has the fastest rising incidence rate among young adults. Each year in Canada close to 10,000 people are diagnosed with this blood cancer and over 3,000 die from the disease.
