Gerry Fasano To Lead Lockheed Martin IS&GS Strategy And Business Development

GAITHERSBURG, Md., July 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Gerry Fasano has been appointed Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Lockheed Martin's (NYSE: LMT) Information Systems and Global Solutions (IS&GS) business.  In addition, he will remain the General Manager for the Valley Forge, Pa. operations, where he will continue his close work and commitment to the Greater Philadelphia area community.  Fasano will be responsible for developing and executing the business strategy, overseeing plans for business growth, and sustaining and strengthening customer relationships.  He will lead a strategy and business development team with three product lines and 28,000 employees for a company recognized as the IT leader for the Federal Government for 19 years in a row.

Fasano, formerly the IS&GS-Defense product line Vice President and General Manager, brings 29 years of experience to the role, developing teams and building strong partnerships with customers. Fasano succeeds Paul Lemmo, who was recently announced as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development.
