The general public is invited to a free information technology (IT) event with a theme focused on "Innovation at the Edge." The event offers valuable information about and access to technology innovations and employment opportunities for professionals and students. The goal is to increase IT education and awareness, as well as to encourage networking and collaboration in industry, academia and the community. Attendees can participate in educational sessions about business collaboration via big data analytics; cloud computing; cyber security; enterprise mobility; Green IT; Microsoft Windows 8; and more. The agenda also features a panel of industry experts discussing topics such as big data and cloud computing; a seminar explaining how strong partnerships deliver broadband services to the region; and a workshop on building a better brand. IT Day also offers a vendor expo showcasing technology and services. |
