Angela Heise of Lockheed Martin Wins Federal 100 Award
Annual Award Recognizes Innovation and Leadership in Government IT

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) today announced that Angela Heise, a vice president with Information Systems & Global Solutions, is a 2013 Federal 100 (FED 100) Award winner. Fed 100, sponsored by Federal Computer Week, recognizes leaders in the government information technology community who demonstrate "just how important the individual can be in bringing real change to federal technology."

Heise's recognition as an innovative leader in the IT industry is a result of the work she led in   her previous role as the program manager for the Army Corps of Engineers Information Technology (ACE-IT) contract, located in Vicksburg, MS.

The ACE-IT team was able to improve initiatives for project management, asset management, information assurance and cyber security – all while meeting affordability expectations of the customer.  Angela and her team also supported contingency and surge operations for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during many of the 2012 severe weather happenings including "Superstorm Sandy" that hit the northeastern United States.

Heise is currently the vice president of Enterprise IT Solutions for IS&GS-Defense. In this position, she leads an employee workforce of approximately 2,100 people supporting a variety of U.S. Army, Air Force and Department of Defense customers with managed services, engineering services, information assurance, cyber security, enterprise architecture and application development.
