Lockheed Martin Receives FAA Best of the Best Award for Work With Small Businesses

ROCKVILLE, Md.

ROCKVILLE, Md., Sept. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) received a Best of the Best Award from the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Small Business Development Program for supporting the agency's goals for 2011.

The award recognized Lockheed Martin's extensive use of small businesses on its National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC) III program. NISC III is a performance-based contract that provides continued support for transition, integration and implementation of selected FAA national airspace system modernization and support programs.
