ROCKVILLE, Md., May 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] has been selected as a contractor authorized to compete for task orders on a Government-Wide Acquisition Contracting (GWAC) vehicle managed by the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC).

Known as the Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) program with a ceiling value of $20 billion, the 10-year multiple award contracting vehicle is available to all federal agencies to procure Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for a wide range of information technology (IT) and health IT products, services, and solutions. Lockheed Martin is one of 54 companies selected to support the program.
