Lockheed Martin Opens New Mission Support Center in Clinton, Miss.
Facility to employ up to 350 employees; deliver innovative technologies

JACKSON, Miss.

JACKSON, Miss., Oct. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) officially opened a 33,000-square-foot Mission Support Center today that will bring up to 350 jobs to Mississippi's Capital Region.  The center, located in Clinton, Miss., will support diverse mission and technology services that Lockheed Martin provides to federal agencies.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new site included Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant, and Clinton Mayor Rosemary Aultman, along with officials representing Lockheed Martin's Information Systems & Global Solutions (IS&GS) business.

The facility provides mission and technology services for various federal government programs with plans for continued growth.  This facility also establishes Lockheed Martin's Gulf Coast Technology Hub, which partners with existing East and West Coast Technology Hubs to offer innovative cloud computing, cyber security, efficient big data management and mobile computing solutions to federal customers.
