Lockheed Martin Achieves Significant Information Technology Services Milestone
ISO 20000 Completes Corporation's Cyber Security and Services Certification Initiatives

GAITHERSBURG, Md., July 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) today announced the successful achievement of ISO 20000 certification for its Information Systems & Global Solutions business area. The IT services certification complements the information security ISO 27001 certification which was announced in November of 2009 wherein Lockheed Martin became the first major systems integrator to achieve this designation. The attainment of two internationally recognized certifications in IT services and information security standards positions Lockheed Martin as one of five U.S.-based companies and government organizations to accomplish these combined milestones.

The scope of the recent ISO 20000 certification focused on IS&GS programs related to information technology solutions and services, and the Corporation's Services Engineering centers of excellence. One program review involved the 844th Communications Group on Joint Base Andrews, Md. The 844th Communications Group provides enhanced communications reliability, survivability, information capabilities, and user support within the National Capital Region on behalf of the Air Force District of Washington.

Cyber security is a core component of Lockheed Martin's information technology services and solutions. Both security and services initiatives are critical to maintaining national and government security while enhancing continuous improvement of the company's management systems.
