Sikorsky Aerospace Services announced today the signing of an agreement with RUAG Aviation to designate its Alpnach helicopter facility in Switzerland as an authorized Customer Service Center (CSC) to support the Sikorsky S-76® helicopter platform. Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS) is the aftermarket division of Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
“The Alpnach Customer Service Center is aligned with our commitment to provide worldwide aftermarket support services close to our customers. It will also be a key support facility for the future expansion of Sikorsky’s S-76 commercial aircraft fleet in south-east and south-central Europe,” said Frank DiPasquale, Vice President, Sales and Strategic Relationships, SAS.
RUAG’s Customer Service Center will offer Sikorsky S-76 helicopter operators complete aftermarket support – including Sikorsky trained local maintenance personnel for on-site comprehensive maintenance management, inspections and spare-parts procurement.
