Derco Aerospace Awarded Exclusive Distribution Agreement by LORD Corp.

PARIS, France - Derco Aerospace announced today at the Paris Air Show that it has reached a five-year agreement to exclusively distribute spare C-130, P-3, and E-2C engine mounts, vibration control components and associated parts worldwide for LORD Corp. Derco Aerospace is a Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS) company – the aftermarket division of Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).

This arrangement is the latest chapter in a 20-year relationship in which Derco Aerospace has successfully established itself as a trusted supplier of LORD engine mounts and related piece parts to customers throughout the world. Derco’s extensive product knowledge and ability to process high-volume customer requests allows it to provide an average turn-around time of 48 hours for stock items. Through Sikorsky Aerospace Services’ global network, this new exclusive arrangement broadens Derco’s position to provide total aftermarket support on multiple aircraft platforms via effective long-term logistics programs. “We are delighted to expand our relationship with LORD and bring new opportunities to market,” said Paul Fuhrmann, director of OEM Management for Sikorsky Aerospace Services.
