Lockheed Martin Announces New Assignments For Two Top Business Development Posts

BETHESDA, Md.

BETHESDA, Md., June 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has announced new assignments for two of its senior business development leaders that will enhance Lockheed Martin's ability to support domestic and international growth through strong customer relationships.

Paul Lemmo, 45, has been promoted to vice president, business development for the Information Systems & Global Solutions business area, led by Executive Vice President Linda Gooden.  He succeeds Thomas J. Oles, 49, who has been appointed the vice president, strategy & business development for the Electronic Systems business area, led by Executive Vice President Marillyn Hewson. Both moves are effective July 4.

"Paul and Tom have demonstrated the ability to maintain strong, trusting relationships with our customers while understanding their mission."

Lemmo currently is the vice president of business development for Electronic Systems' Missions Systems & Sensors business, whose programs include the Littoral Combat Ship and Aegis combat system and ballistic missile defense.  He has been with Lockheed Martin for 24 years, working in a variety of engineering, management and business development roles.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.

Oles is currently the vice president, business development at IS&GS, which provides a broad spectrum of information technology solutions and services to defense, civil, intelligence and international customers. These include diverse programs such as operation of the Pentagon's network infrastructure, data capture for the U.S. and UK Census and deployment of the FBI's Next Generation Fingerprint Identification system. He has more than 28 years of technical, managerial and business development experience and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida.
