Lockheed Martin Names Kimberly Ramalho Vice President of Communications for Mission Systems and Sensors

WASHINGTON

WASHINGTON, May 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has appointed Kimberly Ramalho vice president of communications for its Mission Systems and Sensors (MS2) business.  MS2, based in Washington, D.C., is part of the Electronic Systems business area and has approximately 15,000 employees, primarily based in the U.S., Canada and Australia.

Since 2009, Ramalho, 43, served as the global communications director for General Electric's Water and Process Technologies business. Prior to that role, she held leadership positions of increasing responsibility with American Water, the largest publicly traded water and wastewater utility company, and Siemens Corp., a technology provider in a number of industries including energy and healthcare.

Ramalho received her bachelor's degree in communications from Richard Stockton College and earned her master's degree in communications from Rutgers University.
