Lockheed Martin Employees Build Bikes for Boys & Girls Club

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., March 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Approximately 30 Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] employees will be building Huffy bikes for children from the Fairmount Boys & Girls Club on Thursday, Mar. 31, at the Lockheed Martin facility in King of Prussia, Pa.

The employees will be participating in a "Build-a-Bike Team Building Workshop®" and charity activity, organized by The Leaders Institute®.  The day culminates with a presentation ceremony, where the bicycles that were created are given to children representing the Fairmount Boys & Girls Club.

The bike building activity will be happening from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Building 100 facility on the Lockheed Martin Valley Forge campus in King of Prussia, Pa.

Details for bike presentation to the Fairmount Boys & Girls Club representatives:

The bike presentation will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.  The employees will make the presentation to a representative from the Fairmount Boys & Girls Club, along with 6 children who have been selected to be recipients of the bikes.

Members of the media who plan to attend the event need to R.S.V.P. to Marcia Beach-Malinowski as soon as possible in order to gain access to the facility.
