PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 7, 2010 -- Philadelphia Eagles Long Snapper Jon Dorenbos will join Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Junior Achievement (JA) of Delaware Valley for a one-day, employee volunteer event at Franklin. S. Edmonds Elementary School on Tuesday, Dec. 7. The event, known as "JA in a Day," will connect more than 150 employee volunteers with more than 2,000 elementary school students at the Franklin S. Edmonds and C.W. Henry Elementary Schools, part of the Philadelphia city school district.  The goal is to teach children about the world of business and financial responsibility through organized activities.

During the course of the day, Lockheed Martin volunteers will work with students on business lessons covering the state of the U.S. economy, credit responsibility and the important role that businesses play in the community in terms of job creation and growth.  Activities for the event are designed to educate, engage and inspire students at an early age and grade level to value free enterprise and gain a better understanding of business and economics.

"Lockheed Martin is proud to once again partner with Junior Achievement for this event," said Tracy Carter Dougherty, Director of Community Relations for Lockheed Martin. "We all know that our future business leaders will face even greater challenges as we continue to navigate through tough economic times.  By partnering with Junior Achievement of Delaware Valley on this important event, we play an important role in preparing these students with knowledge and exposure to the business world."
