Lockheed Martin's IronClad(TM) Product Teams Up With Telework Exchange
"PC on a Stick" Offers Innovative Technology for Smart, Secure Teleworking

HERNDON, Va.

Lockheed Martin has joined the Telework Exchange in support of their mission to expand and improve telework options for government agencies and employees. The Corporation's award-winning IronClad(TM) product -which shrinks a laptop's hard drive onto a secure USB flash drive - offers a unique and innovative solution for employees on-the-go.

"Studies consistently show that employees who telework, even just occasionally, are happier, healthier and more productive than those who do not," said Rohan Amin, Lockheed Martin's IronClad program manager. "Add to that the environmental benefits of teleworking and the impact on traffic congestion, and you have an undeniable business case for telework. We're proud to support the Telework Exchange's efforts to promote affordable, productive and secure telework solutions for government."

"The Federal government is in a telework perfect storm - it's a win for employees, managers, agencies, and the environment," said Cindy Auten, General Manager, Telework Exchange. "We are pleased that Lockheed Martin recognizes these benefits and has joined the public-private partnership of Telework Exchange. Together with Lockheed Martin, the telework community is dedicated to advocating smart, secure telework practices."

IronClad is a highly secure "PC on a stick." Teleworkers can plug the flash drive into just about any computer or laptop in the world, and have instant, secure access to their company desktop and files. IronClad's encryption and active cyber defenses keep both data and networks protected, even if the drive is lost or stolen. Because IronClad stores the employee's entire desktop, they can be fully productive from anywhere, with full access to specialized applications and their familiar file system.

IronClad drives are built to meet the needs of IT and information security officers. IronClad runs an organization's standard software bundle, so it plugs into the enterprise network just like any other laptop or PC. That makes it easy for IT teams to manage and update IronClad devices, and to protect both the employee's data and the organization's network.

Telework Exchange is a public-private partnership focused on demonstrating the tangible value of telework and serving the emerging educational and communication requirements of the Federal teleworker community. The organization facilitates communication among Federal teleworkers, telework managers, and IT professionals.

The Telework Exchange will host its Fall 2010 Town Hall Meeting on October 7 at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC.

Headquartered in Bethesda, Md., Lockheed Martin is a global security company that employs about 136,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. The Corporation's 2009 sales from continuing operations were $44.5 billion.
