Pacific Architects & Engineers (PAE), a Lockheed Martin
Under ACOTA, PAE will compete with the other awardees for task orders for training and equipping African peacekeepers, mentoring and advising host country peacekeeping trainers, and upgrading facilities used by these forces.
"PAE is pleased to be expanding our work in support of the State Department in Africa," said Mike Dignam, PAE President. "PAE has worked to build capacity in Africa for more than 15 years, and the peacekeeper training we will provide under ACOTA continues this proud tradition."
Drawing upon this rich history of African operations, PAE will tailor its services to the specific needs and infrastructure of individual partner countries. In addition to ACOTA, PAE currently provides training, logistical and construction services to the State Department under the Africa Peacekeeping Program (AFRICAP). It also supports rule of law development activities under State's Civilian Police (CIVPOL) contract. Throughout its operations in Africa, whether training peacekeepers or mentoring a local police force, PAE contributes to the implementation of U.S. foreign policy goals by enhancing the capabilities of individual countries.
PAE, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin, is a global company specializing in expeditionary construction, logistics, operations and maintenance, and training.
