Seven local engineering professionals from Lockheed Martin have been recognized for their achievements in shaping the future of science, technology and engineering. The employees were named Modern Day Technology Leaders and were recognized at the Black Engineer of the Year Awards conference, held in Baltimore, Md.

  --  Gregory Roberts, Information Sharing Campaign Chief, Herndon, Va.
  --  Khalilah Wilkinson, Systems Engineer, Greenbelt, Md.

The Black Engineer of the Year Awards Science, Technology and Engineering and Mathematics Global Competitiveness Conference is a three-day event offering workshops and professional development seminars. The honorees from Lockheed Martin were recognized at a luncheon during the event, which ran February 18-20 in Baltimore.
