Among the winners are Pamela Blow-Mitchell, vice president of mission success at Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems and Global Services (IS&GS). Blow-Mitchell is a recipient of a 2010 BEYA President's Award for IT Leadership. In her role, Blow-Mitchell shapes and establishes the IT strategy and implementation to promote business growth, fosters business agility, and delivers results across the IS&GS enterprise while providing IT products, services, and infrastructure for the IS&GS workforce, which supports 4,000 programs located in all U.S. states and more than 60 countries worldwide.
Lockheed Martin is also proud that BEYA honored Richard A. Smith, director of common products subcontract management at Lockheed Martin Space Systems, with a 2010 BEYA Special Recognition Award. Smith is responsible for subcontract management of major subassemblies common to multiple commercial and government programs with Space Systems. He and his team administer major domestic and international subcontracts of $300 million annually.
Twenty-eight Lockheed Martin employees were recognized for shaping the future of engineering, science and technology with Modern Day Technology Leadership (MDTL) Awards.
