Lockheed Martin To Host Energy and Climate Briefing at National Press Club

What: The briefing, Global Security through a Green Lens: Lockheed Martin's Efforts to Address Energy and Climate Challenges, will describe the ways in which the Corporation is addressing the nation's energy and climate challenges in the areas of alternative energy generation, energy efficiency, management and storage, and climate monitoring.

New partnerships, contracts, and technology advancements will be announced during the briefing.

Who: The panel will feature the following subject matter experts and topics:

  --  Jim Kohlhaas, energy innovations
  --  Tom Grumbly, energy efficiency
  --  Chris Myers, alternative energy generation
  --  Ken Van Meter, grid management and energy storage
  --  Jon Malay, climate monitoring and environmental solutions

Format: The session will open with a brief introduction to Lockheed Martin's work in the field and announcements, followed by time for reporters to question the panel.
