Patrick M. Dewar has been named Lockheed Martin Vice President, Corporate International Business Development, with responsibility for new business capture and strategy outside the United States, including the management of the Corporation's overseas business development offices.

"Lockheed Martin has a long history of building and maintaining strong global partnerships," said Bob Stevens, Lockheed Martin Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer. During his 26 years in the aerospace industry, Pat has held numerous executive-level positions in program management and business development, most recently as Vice President, Business Development for our Electronic Systems Business Area. Previously, Pat has also led the capture effort for major business opportunities and has managed programs in advanced weapon system design, miniature electronics, composite materials and development flight test execution.

Headquartered in Bethesda, Md., Lockheed Martin is a global security company that employs about 140,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. The corporation reported 2007 sales of $41.9 billion.
