Lockheed Martin named Merchantville resident Gregory W. Barnett a Lockheed Martin Fellow. The distinction honors technologists that have demonstrated technical excellence, supported achievement of business objectives, mentored colleagues, improved within their discipline, and earned the respect of their technical peers.

Fellows represent one percent of Lockheed Martin's exempt technical population. Selection and status as a Fellow reflects past and present technical achievement as an individual contributor, as well as expected continued service to the corporation as a technical leader and mentor.

Lockheed Martin recognized Barnett for sustained expertise in several technologies, including radar, radio frequency sensors, signal processing, algorithm development, and systems engineering --- all of which contributed substantially to the success of his business component, the Advanced Technology Laboratories (ATL), as well as to the development and success of junior technologists whom he mentored.

Barnett's selection brings to four the number of Lockheed Martin Fellows and Senior Fellows in residence at ATL.
