Lockheed Martin Wins Navy Information Assurance Technical Support Services Contract
One Year $36.8 million Award May Reach $189 million Over Five Years

GAITHERSBURG, Md.

Lockheed Martin has been selected by the Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center - Charleston to provide information assurance technical support services for the Joint Medical Information System. The one year, $36.8 million contract includes network security engineering, certification, test and evaluation, systems engineering and integration, independent verification and validation, integration and maintenance/repair services, and information assurance support.

Through our commitment to cyber security, we are focused on securing our nation's most critical assets and eliminating vulnerabilities."

As part of the contract, Lockheed Martin will assist the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston and the Naval Network Warfare Command with work in cryptographic repair and modernization, network operations and security, computer network defense, security life cycle management, identity management, public key infrastructure, and secure network infrastructure for SPAWAR. The work will be performed in Charleston, S.C. and other locations worldwide.

If all options are exercised over a five-year period the contract may be worth up to $189.8 million.
