Linda Gooden, executive vice president of Lockheed Martin's Information Systems & Global Services business area was named Executive of the Year as part of the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards this week. The award recognized Gooden for her personal contributions and leadership provided to the government contracting industry, the company and the community.

The Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards are presented in partnership by the Fairfax Country Chamber of Commerce's Northern Virginia GovCon Council, the Professional Services Council and Washington Technology. The awards honor innovative and trail-blazing companies, industry executives and long-term supporters of the government contracting industry. Awards are presented to those who have shown a commitment to excellence and for their role in shaping the marketplace.
