Lockheed Martin Employee is Presented With Award From National Defense Industrial Association

Lockheed Martin is proud to announce that Joseph (Joe) Grosson has been awarded this year's National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Edward M. Greer Award for his contributions to the military logistics community.

The award is presented annually to an individual in recognition of noteworthy contributions or meritorious service to the Department of Defense in the area of integrated logistics support engineering and its implementation in maintenance and product support.

Grosson currently serves as the managing director of Lockheed Martin's Enterprise Logistics Technology Office and concurrently serves on the staff of the Chief Technology Officers as the Corporate director of logistics. Grosson's responsibilities include focusing on leadership and collaboration for logistics technology and advancements in areas such as autonomic logistics, performance-based logistics, information technology frameworks and automatic identification. The technology team is also creating a logistics knowledge management system, community-of-practice and a logistics education institute.

The NDIA is a partnership between industry and government that is driving the future of defense and national security. The association facilitates growth, innovation, and technological advances for all facets of the defense industrial and related support base. Association membership includes over 1,300 corporations and 39,000 individuals.
