Lockheed Martin's Mary Reagor Honored By Women in Aerospace Organization

FORT WORTH, Texas

Dr. Mary P. Reagor, technical fellow for mathematical algorithms at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas, is the recipient of the 2005 Outstanding Achievement Award from Women in Aerospace.

Honors were presented on Sept. 27 by administration and congressional representatives during ceremonies at the Women in Military Service for America Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

Reagor was honored for her pioneering work in the development of fuzzy logic applications, resulting in extremely versatile, widely applicable data mining and modeling tools for complex systems. She is co-inventor of the Reagor Lynn Method (RLM) technology, a unique mathematical technique for quickly creating compact, accurate, high performance models of complex physical phenomena.

Reagor holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Agnes Scott College, a master's degree in mathematics from the University of Texas, and a Ph.D in mathematics from Texas Christian University.
