The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) awarded a $13.3 million contract to Longbow Limited (LBL) for Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) of the Longbow Fire Control Radar (FCR).
LBL, a limited liability company consisting of Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems
The contract follows an award to LBL in 2004 to provide depot repair, production integration support and technical support to fielded Apache squadrons.
"The new contract is in recognition of the proven performance and success of LBL support of the Fire Control Radar," said Longbow FCR program director Jerry Garman. "It continues the LBL commitment of supporting our warfighters by delivering a FCR that exceeds its operational readiness requirements."
