Accredited media are invited to the grand opening of Lockheed Martin Corporation's Center for Innovation in Suffolk, Va. The Center is a unique laboratory focused on the development of new operational concepts, net-centric solutions, and advanced technologies critical to the military's transformation efforts, the nation's war on terrorism, homeland defense and other important national missions.
The event offers reporters a unique opportunity to look into the future of advanced technology for defense and homeland security. An in-depth tour of this one-of-a-kind laboratory will give the media an opportunity to view, learn about and even "test drive" the next-generation technology that helps protect our national security.
