Lockheed Martin Space Operations (LMSO) will perform the work on the Mission Support Operations Contract (MSOC). This contract extension exercised by NASA brings the total contract value to $246,298,890.
Under the MSOC, LMSO will provide space operations and data services support for Space Shuttle missions and International Space Station expeditions. These services include mission operations and planning ground systems support for the Mission Control Center at Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, as well as ground systems services for JSC's Emergency Operations Center, the Electronic System Test Laboratory and Space Communications Integration. LMSO will also provide ground system services for the Houston Support Room/Backup Command and Control Center in Russia, and an Integrated Planning System.
