Lockheed Martin Elects Anne Stevens to Board of Directors

The Lockheed Martin board of directors has elected Anne Stevens to its board effective September 16, 2002. Ms. Stevens is Vice President, North America Vehicle Operations, Ford Motor Company. Lockheed Martin directors serve one-year terms.

Stevens, 53, has had a distinguished career as a business leader. Prior to her current position, she served in a number of executive positions within Ford Motor Company in product engineering, marketing and manufacturing in the U.S. and England. Stevens also served in similar positions within Exxon Chemical Company prior to joining Ford in 1990.

Stevens holds a Bachelor of Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Drexel University.

Headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, Lockheed Martin employs about 125,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture and integration of advanced technology systems, products and services. The Corporation reported 2001 sales of $24 billion.
