Eight Lockheed Martin Management & Data Systems (M&DS) employees, each representing "One-in- a-Thousand" of the company's approximate 8,000 employees, will be honored as M&DS' top employees for their leadership, dedication and outstanding performance on the job. This year's award recipients will be honored at a special ceremony and gala dinner at the Ritz-Carlton in Philadelphia on June 21, and enjoy an all-expenses-paid weekend in the city.

Lockheed Martin M&DS' One-In-A-Thousand award program began in 1962 to annually recognize a select group of employees for their efforts that result in a substantial contribution to the success and reputation of the company, and this year marks the 40th anniversary of the award. This exclusive recognition, the highest that the company bestows, honors approximately one in every 1,000 employees and is based on demonstrated excellence in the areas of performance, dedication and ingenuity.

This year's recipients are John Hohwald of Downingtown, Pennsylvania; Kirk Schlotterbeck of Downingtown, Pennsylvania; Ross Brensinger of San Jose, California; Patricia Reavy of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; Sharon Greenhalgh of McLean, Virginia; Kathleen Salyan of Middleburg, Virginia; Troy B. Mills of Manassas Park, Virginia; and Don Beckerleg of Phoenix, Arizona.
