Lockheed Martin today announced the resignation of Lynne V. Cheney from the Lockheed Martin Board of Directors. Mrs. Cheney had been a member of the board since the time of the Lockheed- Martin Marietta merger in 1995. She also served as a director of Lockheed Corporation from 1994 until 1995.

Vance Coffman, Lockheed Martin Chairman and CEO said, "Lynne will be missed. She has been a strong member of our Board of Directors and an active member of our Finance and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees. On behalf of all our Board members and employees, I thank her and wish her well."
